4images 1.7.3 integration with nuke 7.8

I installed 4mages 1.7.3 as a module in php-nuke 7.8 with mod help and instructions. I have a few problems but the main one is getting 4images to use nuke's user list and automatically login from the nuke module. When you click on the Gallery from nuke it shows as a visitor and if you try to manually login it says incorrect password or username, but if you try to register a username that exists within the nuke userlist it says username already exists so it must be looking at the nuke userlist. Any ideas on what is wrong here? I could really use some help on this one.
